Bow Creek Golf Course is centrally located in the most populated part of the city and is a great place to learn to play golf. Not a high-end, daily-fee facility, it's just basic golf, but that's a good thing when so many courses are priced out of a beginners comfort zone. In another era it was a country club called White Sands and was operated by the father of two-time U.S. Open winner Curtis Strange.
