Wicomico Shores is a county-owned 18 hole golf course at the northwest end of St. Mary's County.
Our Kind Of Course: Not Too Long and Not Too Expensive
Owned and operated by St. Mary's County, Wicomico Shores Golf Course is located adjacent to the Wicomico River. The par 72 layout plays to an amateur-comfortable maximum of 6,397 yards. Three other tee boxes play as short as 5,320 yards. Regular golfers at Wicomico Shores may benefit financially with one of the 5- or 7-day annual passes, available for individuals and families.
The Riverview Restaurant is open daily with sandwiches, salads, burgers and the like. The banquet room (capacity: 175 friends) is available for weddings and other events. Golf outings and tournaments are welcome.

Noisy Neighbors in Northern St. Mary's County
It's not quite a riverfront course, but at its closest Wicomico Shores is only 70 yards from the Wicomico River. Just north of the golf course are several attractions for noisier hobbies. Budds Creek Motocross Park (motorcycle racing), Maryland International Raceway (drag racing), and Wicomico Motor Sports Park (more motocross and off-road ATV's) are neighbors. The waterfront community of Wicomico Shores Landing is just south of the golf course.
