Willow Springs Golf Course is a par 62 "executive length" course located about six miles south of Sykesville and 20 miles west of downtown Baltimore.
18 Hole Par 62 Course on I-70 West of Baltimore
Today's math quiz: How do you get to a par of 62 on an 18-hole golf course? The simplest method is to include eight par 4's and ten par 3's. And that's what they've done at Willow Springs. The land has been cleared of trees enough to give it a bit of a Scottish links-y feel. Four sets of tees play from 3,167 to 4,253 yards, with the holes playing from the back tees between 105 and 399 yards.
Willow Springs is a privately-owned, publicly playable course, with annual memberships offered for regular players. The driving range is also available for public practice and also has a membership program.

Willow Springs is at the junction of MD Route 32 (Sykesville Road) and I-70, about 20 miles west of downtown Baltimore. In addition to a few golf courses, this part of Howard County has farmland and houses on big lots. And it seems appropriate that the Howard County Fairgrounds is just across I-70 from the golf course.
