Back Creek Golf Club is a highly-regarded course located just east of the Delaware/Maryland border a few miles south of the Chesapeake and Delaware canal, about 20 miles from Wilmington. It's definitely a bit out of the way, but it's highly likely that you'll join the golfers who have given the course positive reviews. The course offers some variety, with the front 9 more open and the back 9 through a more forested area. At over 7,000 yards from the tips and with tees that offer significant differences in total yardages, Back Creek is an enjoyable play for all golfers.
